Parány, forest dormouse (Dryomys nitedula)

The little pele came to us from Erdőkertes, with the mediation of EKA (Együtt A Kisállatokért Alapítvány). At the time the closed eyed baby weighed only 5 grams.

From the very beginning it was suspected that his left eye would have problems. Despite the daily treatments and drips, unfortunately Parány cannot see well with that eye,  although it does not seem to bother her much. For her repatriation and possible permanent placement we will seek the help of conservation professionals.
